Early Separation still qualify for GI bill?

I've been in the army 2 and a half years, one day upon going to SRP the woman at final out asks me about something that happened at basic training (note i've been to srp 4 times before this) I had to visit a psychiatrist because the drill sgt found me sleep walking numerous times and there was written doentation that for some reason was never brought up until now(it was on the computer) well now I'm stuck in a limbo seperated from my old platoon in rear d medical waiting for the word one what the army is going to do with me...the PA said the army should have discharged me from the spot in basic and it wasn't my fault so...if the army is going to discharge me do I still qualify for my montgomery GI bill and if so what kind of medical discharge am I looking at...(I paid the 120 dollars a month for a year for the gi bill and my service record is clean never received a negative counseling or article 15)
