Is Canada a good place to live? does...?

I'm American but I grew up in Canada. It was great. A lot of what is said about Canadians is true. Generally the cites are clean and they really are very nice (most of them). Positives, health care, lower crime rate, basically all the things you normally hear. Negatives, IT GETS REALLY FREAKING COLD IN THE WINTER!! I know it sounds stupid but it's true. Also they have a higher unemployment rate then the states. There is much more of the good and the bad. As for where to live it really depends what you like. I'm a big city person. If I can't hear the traffic I can't sleep. So if that's your thing then stick to Vancouver, Montreal (if you speak at least a little french) or Toronto. But they also have many midsized and small towns if that's your thing. The nicest people live on the east coast. The biggest jerks live in Ontario.
