Something Wrong With Sims 3 Folders?

I never go to those random sites to get custom content cuz I don't understand it either. You be able to have an account on thesims3.com where you can get loads of custom contact that are even from those sites that you are looking at. Just go to the exchange and look at the sims people made, if one of the sims have an outfit you don't have, just download it and it goes directly to your game launcher.
