Diagnosed with Lupus?

I was recently diagnosed with sle. I had a positive ANA, and smooth muscle antibodies, but neg. anticugulant, anti-dna and negative lupus genetic test. My symtoms were hairloss for 2 yrs, on n off joint pain, sore eyes, occasional mouth ulcers, tiredness, and headaches.But absolutely no rash anywhere on my body. The reaumatologist said it was sle eventhough I had no rash. I thought it always caused a rash/sun sensitivity? I did feel alot better on the prednisone, which i took for a month, and the plaquanil which I still take. I am still hoping I do not have it, as I'm a young mom with lots of dreams. I'm confused? Pls help!!
