Puppy umbilical cord cut short problem?

There is nothing you can do about it now....anything you put on it the mom will lick off....so just watch it. You will be watching for signs of infection. Usually the mother's licking can actually help keep away infection. If you have to cut cords again. Get the puppy away from the mother so she cannot grab it. Avoiding the same situation.
