What should i expect after spinal fusion?

i am 18 and have a compression fracture on my t4 vertbrae, im getting t2-t6 fused and a rod placed on my spine. what can i expect pain wise? how long will it take before i can walk and go to school? will i be able to snowboard/skydive/bike after i am healed, and how long does it take to heal? im kind of worried about having many limitations after this surgery, please help answer some of my questions!
